Payment cycles are weekly for hourly contracts.
⦿ Your weekly logged hours are charged to the client on Monday.
⦿ There is a review period until Friday, followed by a 5-day security period.
⦿ This means payment is typically released the next Wednesday—approximately 10 days after the work week ends.
For fixed-price contracts, payment is released based on milestones:
⦿ The client funds a milestone upfront.
⦿ Once the milestone is approved, there is a 5-day security hold.
⦿ After the hold, the payment is released. You also have the option to set up automatic scheduled payments (weekly or monthly) instead of per-milestone releases.
